Located in District Nowshera of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, R-pSEZ, is spread over an area of 1000 acres. Rashakai pSEZ is a flagship project of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (GoKP) in Industrial Cooperation under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework. R-pSEZ is being developed by China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) in joint venture with KPEZDMC. To carry out this arrangement a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) company, Rashakai Special Economic Zone Development and Operations Company (RSEZDOC) has been established.

The ground breaking of R-pSEZ was performed by the former Prime Minister of Pakistan on 28th May, 2021.
